Map fold book with shells in pink and white

This is an unusual intricately folded book

Each page opens to a square and closes into an irregular pentagon.

Each of 7pages is 29cm square and is made from 140gsm acid free cartridge paper in white red and yellow. This is suitable for all dry media and light pen and wash.

The handprinted covers use gold ink over red paper and are in my ‘shells’ design.

This paper has been silkscreen printed by me, here in my studio in West Wales .

Pink spotty ribbons are used to secure the book.

Use it for a journal, a visitors book or just an interesting paper sculpture.

This would make a great gift.
